Services of Hope
Manager - Business Operations
By this time I had become confident in my business acumen from a financial and process improvement standpoint. However, volunteer experiences opened my eyes to the social challenges of so many families and youth in the city of Dallas. I wanted to combine my skills and experience to have a direct impact on this community and bring new ideas to an organization that had been a staple in the community for many years. SOH gave me an opportunity to do just that. My main priority was to control a $100,000+ annual operating budget and responsibly direct financial resources to accomplish organizational goals. At SOH I directly Managed a team of community resource assistants and volunteers helping deliver barrier removal services and programs to Dallas Area students and families. Together we raised over $30,000 and surpassed the previous year's fundraising marks by 20%.
I converted several processes from paper to digital for more efficient and accurate information management.
